This is a compilation of all the initial Color Keys that were done for the short film "Too Late" (2020), as well as the reference we looked at for inspiration and mood (heavy on Kubrick and Coen Brothers!), and a comparison with the final shots. The intention of these images was to tackle the main key moments of the story, in order to give our team a visual foundation. As with any project, we adjusted as we went, learning more about our own choices and tweaking the mood to match the evolution the film was undergoing.
